The mission includes the SPACEHAB single module (seen at the top of the bay) with experiments on space flight and the aging process, the International Extreme Ultraviolet Hitchhiker (IEH-3), the Hubble Space Telescope Orbital Systems Test Platform, and the Spartan solar-observing deployable spacecraft.
